Three nations: Swedish Library Tapes - Per Jardsell and David Wenngren, Germans Daniel Rech and Sir Name, and South Africans Joel Assaisky and Dax Butler are sending recordings across the globe to allow a creative exchabge of different musical approaches and sounds specific to their environments.

here, now (UP4): a 45min Audio loop from the sound installation by Niklas Zimmer for 'Tibet is the High Ground' - an eco-political artwork by Helen Meyer Harrison and Newton Harrison - is about to be released.

Nother: Brydon Bolton and Sir Name have just completed a thirty-minute piece for 'Femmes-blanche et noire', a play at the Landestheater Schwaben. The play, written by Werner Fritsch and published by Suhrkamp, was a complete critical success and is touring sixteen stages. Recordings to be published in the near future.

4x3x4: Brydon Bolton, Dean Henning, Adam Lieber and Sir Name are sending 48 CD-R's through a space-time continuum of three years and three countries... along three paths (three versions of lining up times four participants/musicians times four points of departure/arrival, i.e. every nine months the works are sent and recieved, which will result in 12 individual pieces of music). The process is work-intensive and will take a long time to complete - the results should be published sometime at the end of 2007.

James Webb and Niklas Zimmer spend a few days recording live improvised ambient noise at Upland studio. Niklas on drums and keys and James on effects pedals, shortwave radio and dictaphone.
